Excavation of a former church in Immerath, Erkelenz, Germany is currently underway by Denis and Josef Franzen under the direction of Dr. Alfred Schuler from LVR-ABR. This is an update on March 28th, 2019. Further updates will be provided later. The situation remains unchanged from December 29th, 2018. No significant changes have occurred since December 6th, 2018. Excavation work continued through September 8th, 2018. Recent activity is focused on July 28th, 2018.
