Excavation of a former church in Immerath, Erkelenz, Germany is ongoing. Denis and Josef Franzen are overseeing this project, with Dr. Alfred Schuler from LVR-ABR providing direction. As of December 6th, 2018, here's the current state of affairs. Further updates will be provided at a later time. A look back reveals that excavation began on September 8th, 2018. Meanwhile, the situation on July 28th, 2018 was also noteworthy. The project continues to unfold with developments on June 16th, 2018 adding new insights.
