EVSE Cable Garage Door Passthrough
thingiverse
This is a simple passthrough that will protect your EVSE charging cable from the weight of the garage door if your EVSE is located inside of your garage and the vehicle is in the driveway. The current model will fit a cable that is up to 20mm in diameter. If you have a larger cable, you could scale the model up a few percent to get it to fit. The passthrough is low profile enough that it should allow the garage door to close over it without the door auto-reversing. Sorry for the orientation of the STL. Fusion 360 and I don't get along well when it comes to exporting projects. Please place the narrow end of the model on the build plate to print. That should orient the model so that it is 100mm tall. As long as it is oriented that way, no supports or raft are required to print it. I printed mine in PETG with .3mm layers and 20% gyroid infill. So far, I don't see any deformation of the passthrough from the weight of a double garage door.
