Evolved Motorbike Headlight Bracket.

This project has been all about crafting a one-of-a-kind headlight bracket that will cradle a speedo gauge on a client's motorcycle. Since our geographical distance hasn't allowed me to see the bike up close, I've relied on digital tools to bring this vision to life. With smartphones capable of 3D scanning and 3D printing making custom parts possible, location is no longer a barrier. The design has undergone rigorous shape optimization to pinpoint an efficient form that can withstand the stresses it will encounter. From this optimized shape, a precise 3D pattern was created. Shape optimization and generative design often yield designs that bear an uncanny resemblance to natural bone structures, a testament to evolution's ability to find efficient forms that reflect the stress they endure.
