Evolve Skateboard Rear Belt Cover and Fenders NextGen
thingiverse
This is a remix of an awesome model by shiftkoncepts, tweaked with some changes. Once I've tested these out, I'll be working on front wheel versions - what's the point otherwise? To get the other side printed, just flip the part horizontally using your slicer. I highly recommend coating the underside of the arch with a resin glue to give it some strength and support. PS: I haven't printed this yet, so any feedback is great. If there are any issues, please post pics. Improvements (hopefully): 1. Thicker fins (3.3mm to 5mm) 2. A chamfered join between the arch and screw mount section, along with a support arm to help reduce bounce/vibration and minimize the chance of the piece touching the wheel and ripping it off. 3. The fins layout has been tweaked for some added edge. 4. With these changes, the print is easier with fins angled at 45deg - and it looks kinda cool! 5. Downloadable with manual support or no support.
