I liked the emergency stop paddles I saw on other table saws, and I wanted one!I have made one with two parts.This has an attachment fitting, in which the inner surface is shaped to match precisely the piece that it is mating to. It can be attached with glue, tape, screws or rivets - whichever you prefer.The stop paddle itself snaps onto the fitting. It allows the start button to be pressed through the hole, but pressing the whole paddle always pushes the stop button. The stop button has enough spring to return the paddle to the starting position. The paddle can also be lifted up to horizontal to allow the screws holding the start/stop buttons to be removed for repair or service.I printed this using PLA, 0.2mm standard settings in Cure. The parts do not get hot, so I assume PLA will be fine. With this setting, the fit is precise, with no play against the table saw at all.EDIT: I have added an STL with the text filled in so that it can be marked as a second colour in Prusa Slicer. I have then printed it with single-extruder multi-material settings.
