A new phone stand was required due to compatibility issues with my HTC EVO 3D and previous Samsung Moment design. The stand's unique feature is a protrusion that prevents the speaker from being blocked regardless of phone orientation, adding both functionality and style to the device, as opposed to simple easel or podium stands.
