EVN Flap Drum
grabcad
Here is my proposal for the NASA RASSOR Bucket Drum Design Challenge. Please review the attached report for detailed explanations. This design incorporates a flap system, enhancing sealing during transport and preventing clogging inside the drum. It also accelerates the unloading process. The simulation in the attached video demonstrates a captured volume of regolith measuring 40.42 liters in 69 seconds for the front drum and 40.04 liters in 81 seconds for the rear. This represents an average fill ratio of 70%. Dumping the entire contained regolith takes approximately 10 seconds.
