Evil Knievel Scramble Van Replacement Parts
thingiverse
The old red Evil Knievel truck I'd had since childhood had seen its fair share of action. The upper hinges on the tailgate had given out along with the tow bar. But now, thanks to this solution, both issues were a thing of the past. I flattened the vertical supports that remained of the two plastic pins that allowed the tailgate to rotate and also the reinforcement at the top of the tailgate, aligning it flush with the panel. This enabled it to fit back in place and be secured into position with some glue. The old tow bar had left about 0.5mm sticking out where it used to be, so I first filed it flat before drilling a small hole in the middle just big enough for a small diamond file. I then carefully shaped the area to allow the new tow bar to protrude through from inside the rear of the truck. Once glued into position, the truck was good as new, ready to pull Evil Knievel's motorcycle trailer once again.
