Evil Grin Box

Evil Grin Box

I just wanted to show off this sleek box and this is what I came up with initially. My plan was to fill it with electronics, creating a phishing device as a proof of concept, hence my sly grin. Although I never actually used it for that purpose, I thought you might appreciate the box itself. The print thread is working well, at least based on my own prints. When you check the print simulation, you'll notice two caves in the model at the bottom of the actual box, or simply look at the pictures. These are designed to hold neodymium magnets. Just pause the print at the right spot, insert the magnets, and continue printing. You might need to use some glue or tape (I used tape, which remained in place) to keep them secure and prevent them from jumping to metallic parts of your printer. The magnets are entirely optional though. One thing that's got me stumped is why the thread displays incorrectly in Simplify3D. When simulating the print, everything looks fine again, so make sure you check your simulation before starting the print. Oh, and maybe you'll find a way to use it as a prank box. Let me know if you do!
