Work in progress: A Custom Home Assistant Project The objective is to utilize the open-source Mycroft AI on a Raspberry Pi as the central intelligence. Integrating an Adafruit 12 LED NeoPixel Ring will provide the visual interface, serving as the eyes of this innovative project. Key Components: * Mycroft AI (https://mycroft.ai) * Adafruit 12 LED NeoPixel Ring (https://www.adafruit.com/product/1643) Design Evolution: - Body Rev1: The initial design focuses solely on the shell's structure. - Body Rev2: An additional base is incorporated to enhance adhesion during printing. - Body Rev3: A spherical cutout replaces the traditional cylindrical shape, adding a unique twist. Tunnel for Cables: A tunnel for cables is designed into the bottom of the assembly, ensuring all wiring remains neatly organized and accessible. Eye Diffuser: The eye diffuser can be printed using either clear or natural filament, allowing users to personalize their device according to their preferences.
