Name: Seashore Palm Scientific: Allagoptera arenaria This Variation: 10 of 12 Habitat: Grows well in sandy soils, especially along beach-side areas, in tropical and sub-tropical regions. Range: Found only on the east side of Brazil, it has since spread to many tropical and sub-tropical beaches. Notes: A small palm often discovered in sandy dunes along tropical and sub-tropical beaches. It has a subterranean trunk rarely seen above ground. Fossil records show this plant is very old, probably older than all other palms. Included in this Package: 14 models in total Standard -- 340,683 polygons -- 1.2m tall.
