Seashore Palm Scientific: Allagoptera arenaria This Variation: 9 of 12 Habitat: Growing profusely in sandy soils, particularly on beach-side areas, in tropical and sub-tropical regions. Range: Native to the east side of Brazil, it has since spread rapidly to many tropical and sub-tropical beaches worldwide. Notes: A small palm often discovered in sandy dunes along tropical and sub-tropical beaches. Its subterranean trunk is rarely seen above ground. Fossil records show this plant dates back thousands of years, predating all other palms. Included in this Package: 14 models in total Standard -- 481,414 polygons -- 1.17m tall.
