Seashore Palm Scientific: Allagoptera arenaria This Variation: 4 of 20 Habitat: Native to sandy soils along tropical and sub-tropical beaches. Range: Exclusively found on the eastern coast of Brazil, its distribution has now expanded to many tropical and sub-tropical shorelines. Notes: A diminutive palm commonly encountered in coastal sand dunes throughout tropical and subtropical regions. This plant has an underground trunk that is rarely visible above ground. Fossil records confirm that it is one of the oldest plant species on earth, possibly even predating all other palms. Included in this Bundle: 9 Models Standard -- 375,219 Polygons -- 1.72m tall. This intermediate-stage model offers an appearance of halfway completion to a fully-grown palm. Immature -- 291,505 Polygons -- 90.64cm tall. In this state the model hasn't yet matured with no indication of fruits. A practical tool for detailed render scenarios in close-ups. No Fruit -- 365,715 Polygons -- 1.72m tall. Model includes all finer details such as those present on Standard but without fruit added; recommended where high-levels aren't necessary saving up the number of triangles.
