River Red Gum is known scientifically as Eucalyptus camaldulensis, classified within the LowPoly 15 out of 20 variation. It dominates riverine systems across continents, frequently growing along both permanent and seasonal water sources. Originating in Australia, this tree's popularity has made it a widespread plantation species around the world. Although it is often cultivated for its practical uses, it has unfortunately become an invasive species in many countries after escaping into the wild. River Red Gum has unintentionally spread to North America, Europe, and Asia due to human actions, although native to Australia where it remains incredibly prevalent and abundant. These trees have a reputation for rapidly growing up to 45m in height and may shed substantial boughs at times, earning them the nickname 'widow-maker'. Researchers theorize that self-pruning mechanisms, such as shedding large branches without warning, may be used by the tree to conserve water or possibly due to its inherently brittle wood composition. In total, this package consists of 6 models. - A Standard model comes with a count of 2,534 polygons and stands 33.3m tall. - Distressed: features 2,650 polygons and reaches a height of 29.5m. - Unhealthy tree boasts 2,008 polygons and reaches the height of 24.8m. - A Dead model has 1,698 polygons and is 21 meters high. - Immature comes with 1,458 polygons at just 7m tall. - The Young one boasts 1,792 polygons at a full 18.1m in height.
