River Red Gum Scientific: Eucalyptus camaldulensis This Variation: 12 of 12 Habitat: The River Red Gum is a prominent tree in riverine systems, thriving both alongside permanent water-sources and seasonal ones. Range: Native to Australia, it has spread across the continent, particularly beside inland water courses. It is a widely cultivated plantation species grown globally. In many countries, it has escaped into the wild, becoming a highly invasive species. The tree has been unintentionally introduced to North America, Europe, and Asia. Notes: This iconic Australian tree is the most widespread and abundant on the continent. It can quickly grow up to 45m in height. These trees are known for dropping large boughs without warning, earning them the nickname 'widow-maker'. This self-pruning may be a means of conserving water or simply a result of their brittle wood. The tree appears extremely gnarled when growing next to a poor or intermittent water source; it is considerably straighter when constantly watered. Included in this Package: 14 models in total Standard -- 401,961 polygons -- 30.65m tall. A green, fully matured and relatively healthy tree, suitable for most scenes and applications. Distressed -- 374,528 polygons -- 30.66m tall. Showing increased foliage damage and disease, as well as missing and broken branches. Unhealthy -- 301,039 polygons -- 30.67m tall. In a poor state with much of its foliage missing or diseased. Dying -- 179,975 polygons -- 27.64m tall. The tree is just hanging onto life, showing only unhealthy and diseased foliage. Dead -- 131,662 polygons -- 20.92m tall. Showing only bare and broken branches and dead foliage. Its trunk may be broken part way up. Uprooted -- 243,004 polygons -- 12.62m tall. A dead or dying tree that has fallen onto its side. It may be a full-length trunk or a broken one. Ancient -- 471,087 polygons -- 34.81m tall. A very old tree, larger than normal, considerably gnarled, and with heavier, drooping branches. Young Mature -- 328,177 polygons -- 27.42m tall. Fully matured but not at its full height yet. Young -- 80,969 polygons -- 16.52m tall. A smaller plant some half way through its maturing cycle. Immature -- 5,412 polygons -- 5.47m tall. A small plant that hasn't reached its mature aspect. Sapling -- 322 polygons -- 1.53m tall. A very small and young plant. Less Gnarled -- 358,246 polygons -- 32.66m tall. A straighter, less tortured version of the tree. More Gnarled -- 438,427 polygons -- 30.32m tall. A more twisted and gnarled version of the tree. Displacement -- 1,058,692 polygons -- 30.65m tall. The same as Standard model except with displacement applied to it, adding to the detail level and increasing poly count. Intended for close-up renders. Re-meshing available upon request, such as adaptive mesh for lower poly count (this is the default setting and is as supplied), uniform mesh for easier editing, strict quads, tris, mixed, poly increase or decrease, etc. No charge to existing customers of the product. Many other modifications to models also available upon request. No charge to existing customers of the product. The textures included in this pack are mainly 4k (4096x4096) to cater for detailed renders, which is the default map size and is included in each of the file format download files, no need for separate downloads. However these may be slow to load or render on some systems and may not be necessary in all situations. To allow for this, medium 2k, small 1k, and tiny
