River Red Gum Scientific: Eucalyptus camaldulensis This Variation: 11 of 12 Habitat: Dominant tree of riverine systems, thriving alongside permanent water-sources or seasonal ones. Range: Native to Australia, widespread throughout the continent, especially beside inland water courses. It is a highly popular plantation species grown worldwide. In many countries, it has escaped into the wild, becoming a prolific invasive species. The tree has been unintentionally introduced to North America, Europe, and Asia. Notes: This iconic Australian tree is the most widespread and abundant on the continent. It can quickly grow up to 45m tall. These trees have a habit of dropping large boughs (often half the diameter of the trunk) without warning, earning it the nickname 'widow-maker'. This form of self-pruning may be a means of saving water or simply a result of their brittle wood. The tree is often extremely gnarled when growing next to poor or intermittent water sources; it remains considerably straighter with constant access to water. Included in this Package: 14 models in total Standard -- 292,465 polygons -- 30.57m tall. Green, fully mature and relatively healthy. Suitable for most scenes and applications. Distressed -- 258,253 polygons -- 29.69m tall. Showing increased foliage damage and disease, as well as missing and broken branches. Unhealthy -- 226,891 polygons -- 29.69m tall. In a poor state with much of its foliage missing or diseased. Dying -- 171,864 polygons -- 28.43m tall. The tree is hanging onto life, showing only unhealthy and diseased foliage. Same as Standard model except with displacement applied to its trunk and branches, adding detail and increasing poly count. Intended for close-up renders. Re-meshing available upon request, such as adaptive mesh for lower poly count (this is the default setting and is supplied), uniform mesh for easier editing, strict quads, tris, mixed, poly increase or decrease, etc. No charge to existing customers of the product. Many other modifications to models also available upon request. No charge to existing customers of the product. The textures included in this pack are mainly 4k (4096x4096) to cater for detailed renders. However, these may be slow to load or render on some systems and may not be necessary in all situations.
