River Red Gum Scientific: Eucalyptus camaldulensis This Variation: 9 of 12 Habitat: Prominent tree of riverine systems, whether alongside permanent water-sources or seasonal. Range: Native to Australia, widespread throughout the continent, especially beside inland water courses. It is a very popular plantation species grown worldwide. In many countries, it has escaped into the wild, where it is a prolific invasive species. The tree has been unintentionally introduced to North America, Europe, and Asia. Notes: This iconic Australian tree is the most widespread and abundant on the continent. It can quickly grow to 45 meters in height. These trees have a habit of dropping large boughs without warning, giving it the nickname "widow-maker." This form of self-pruning may be a means of saving water or simply a result of their brittle wood. The tree is often extremely gnarled when it grows next to a poor or intermittent water source; it is considerably straighter when it has access to constant water. Included in this Package: 14 models in total Standard -- 609,724 polygons -- 26.89m tall. Green, fully mature and in relative health. Usable in most scenes and applications. Distressed -- 540,372 polygons -- 26.85m tall. Showing an increased level of foliage damage and disease, as well as missing and broken branches. Unhealthy -- 430,709 polygons -- 25.28m tall. In a relatively poor state with much of its foliage missing or diseased. Dying -- 216,909 polygons -- 18.59m tall. Tree is just hanging onto life and showing only unhealthy and diseased foliage. Dead -- 138,674 polygons -- 10.62m tall. Showing only bare and broken branches and dead foliage. Its trunk may be broken part way up. Uprooted -- 271,759 polygons -- 13.06m tall. Dead or dying tree that has fallen onto its side. It may be a full-length trunk or a broken one. Ancient -- 795,633 polygons -- 36.2m tall. A very old tree, larger than normal, considerably gnarled, and with heavier, drooping branches. Young Mature -- 515,484 polygons -- 23.63m tall. Fully matured but not at its full height yet. Young -- 115,547 polygons -- 14.16m tall. Smaller plant some halfway through its maturing cycle. Immature -- 7,878 polygons -- 4.25m tall. Plant is small and hasn't reached its mature aspect. Sapling -- 708 polygons -- 1.18m tall. Very small and young plant. Less Gnarled -- 538,126 polygons -- 27.19m tall. A straighter, less tortured version of the tree. More Gnarled -- 674,596 polygons -- 27.11m tall. A more twisted and gnarled version of the tree. Displacement -- 1,283,299 polygons -- 26.92m tall. Same as Standard model except the trunk and branches have displacement applied to it, adding to the detail level and increasing poly count. Intended for close-up renders. Re-meshing available upon request, such as adaptive mesh for lower poly count (this is the default setting and is as supplied), uniform mesh for easier editing, strict quads, tris, mixed, poly increase or decrease, etc. No charge to existing customers of the product. Many other modifications to models also available upon request. No charge to existing customers of the product. The textures included in this pack are mainly 4k (4096x4096) to cater for detailed renders, this is the default map size and is included in each of the file format download files, no need for separate downloads. However, these may be slow to load or render on some systems and may not be necessary in all situations. To allow for this, medium 2k, small 1k, and tiny
