River Red Gum Scientific: Eucalyptus camaldulensis This Variation: 8 of 12 Habitat: Dominant tree species found in riverine systems, thriving alongside permanent water sources or seasonal streams. Range: Native to Australia, with a widespread distribution throughout the continent, particularly near inland water courses. It is a highly sought-after plantation species grown globally, often escaping into the wild where it becomes a prolific invasive species. The tree has been unintentionally introduced to North America, Europe, and Asia. Notes: This iconic Australian tree is the most abundant on the continent, with the ability to rapidly grow up to 45 meters tall. These trees are known for suddenly dropping large branches, often half the diameter of the trunk, earning them the nickname "widow-maker." This form of self-pruning may be a water-saving mechanism or simply a result of their brittle wood. Trees growing near poor or intermittent water sources become extremely gnarled, while those with constant access to water grow straighter. Included in this Package: 14 models in total Standard -- 384,872 polygons -- 28.63m tall. Green and fully mature, with relative health. Suitable for most scenes and applications. Distressed -- 360,222 polygons -- 28.63m tall. Showing increased foliage damage and disease, as well as missing and broken branches. Unhealthy -- 263,993 polygons -- 28.63m tall. In a relatively poor state with much of its foliage missing or diseased. Dying -- 207,633 polygons -- 26.31m tall. Tree is clinging to life, showing only unhealthy and diseased foliage. Dead -- 136,324 polygons -- 20.47m tall. Showing bare and broken branches, as well as dead foliage. Its trunk may be partially broken. Uprooted -- 217,308 polygons -- 14.66m tall. Dead or dying tree that has fallen onto its side. It can be a full-length trunk or a broken one. Ancient -- 424,583 polygons -- 30.15m tall. Young -- 49,050 polygons -- 15.12m tall. Smaller plant halfway through its maturing cycle. Immature -- 4,069 polygons -- 5.14m tall. Small and young plant that hasn't reached its mature aspect. Sapling -- 367 polygons -- 1.4m tall. Very small and young plant. Less Gnarled -- 349,871 polygons -- 29.38m tall. Straighter and less tortured version of the tree. Same as Standard model with displacement applied to trunk and branches, increasing detail level and poly count. Intended for close-up renders. Re-meshing available upon request, such as adaptive mesh for lower poly count or uniform mesh for easier editing. No charge to existing customers of the product. Many other modifications to models also available upon request at no extra cost to existing customers. Textures included in this pack are mainly 4k (4096x4096) to cater for detailed renders, with medium 2k, small 1k, and tiny 512x512 options available. These may be slow to load or render on some systems and may not be necessary in all situations.
