River Red Gum Scientific: Eucalyptus camaldulensis This Variation: 5 of 12 Habitat: Dominant tree species of riverine ecosystems, thriving in both permanent and seasonal water sources. Range: Native to Australia, widespread across the continent, particularly alongside inland waterways. It is a highly popular plantation species cultivated globally, with many countries experiencing unintended introductions, resulting in invasive populations in North America, Europe, and Asia. Notes: This iconic Australian tree is the most abundant on the continent, quickly growing up to 45 meters tall. Its tendency to drop massive branches without warning earns it the nickname "widow-maker," possibly a means of conserving water or a result of its brittle wood. Trees growing near poor or intermittent water sources often appear gnarled, while those with constant access exhibit straighter trunks. Included in this Package: 14 models Standard -- 427,598 polygons -- 30.52m tall. Mature and healthy tree, suitable for most scenes and applications, with a fully developed canopy. Distressed -- 409,954 polygons -- 30.52m tall. Exhibiting increased foliage damage, disease, missing, and broken branches, ideal for depicting distressed trees. Unhealthy -- 347,164 polygons -- 30.55m tall. A tree in poor health, characterized by significant foliage loss or disease, making it suitable for scenes requiring unhealthy trees. Dying -- 219,884 polygons -- 29.55m tall. A tree barely clinging to life, with only diseased and unhealthy foliage, perfect for dying tree scenarios. Dead -- 149,658 polygons -- 15.84m tall. Exhibiting bare, broken branches, and dead foliage, possibly a broken trunk partway up, ideal for dead trees. Uprooted -- 223,430 polygons -- 9.77m tall. A fallen or dying tree on its side, with the option of being either dead or dying, suitable for various scenes. Ancient -- 492,011 polygons -- 31.45m tall. An exceptionally old and gnarled tree, larger than average, with heavy, drooping branches, ideal for depicting ancient trees. Young Mature -- 345,634 polygons -- 26.22m tall. A mature but not yet fully grown tree, suitable for scenes requiring young mature trees. Young -- 105,200 polygons -- 16.47m tall. A smaller tree still in its maturation cycle, perfect for young tree scenarios. Immature -- 5,083 polygons -- 5.15m tall. A small, immature tree that has yet to reach its full maturity, suitable for scenes requiring young plants. Sapling -- 825 polygons -- 1.4m tall. An extremely small and young tree, ideal for saplings. Less Gnarled -- 386,294 polygons -- 30.2m tall. A straighter, less tortured version of the tree, perfect for scenes where a less gnarled tree is required. More Gnarled -- 465,603 polygons -- 30.26m tall. A more twisted and gnarled version of the tree, ideal for scenarios requiring an extremely gnarled tree. Displacement -- 886,683 polygons -- 30.52m tall. The same as the standard model but with displacement applied to increase detail and poly count, suitable for close-up renders. Re-meshing available upon request, including adaptive mesh for lower poly counts, uniform mesh for easier editing, strict quads, tris, mixed, poly increase or decrease, etc., at no additional charge for existing customers. Many other modifications to models are available upon request at no extra cost to existing customers. The textures included in this pack are mainly 4k (4096x4096) for detailed renders, with medium 2k, small 1k, and tiny 256x256 options for faster loading or rendering on systems.
