Name: River Red Gum Scientific: Eucalyptus camaldulensis This Variation: 4 of 12 Habitat: The riverine systems' prominent tree thrives in various water sources, from permanent to seasonal. Range: Native to Australia, this species is widespread across the continent, especially near inland water courses. It's a popular plantation worldwide and has escaped into the wild, becoming an invasive species in many countries. Unintentional introductions have taken place in North America, Europe, and Asia. Notes: This iconic Australian tree is the most abundant on the continent, quickly reaching 45m tall. The trees are known for dropping large branches without warning, earning them the nickname 'widow-maker.' Self-pruning may be a means of conserving water or simply a result of their brittle wood. Gnarled trunks occur when growing next to poor or intermittent water sources; constant access to water results in straighter growth. Included in this Package: 14 models Standard -- 734,206 polygons -- 32.34m tall. Green, fully mature, and relatively healthy. Suitable for most scenes and applications. Distressed -- 555,240 polygons -- 30.66m tall. Showing increased foliage damage and disease, as well as missing and broken branches. Unhealthy -- 408,655 polygons -- 30.66m tall. In a poor state with much of its foliage missing or diseased. Dying -- 260,645 polygons -- 28.77m tall. The tree is barely holding on, displaying only unhealthy and diseased foliage. Dead -- 152,596 polygons -- 28.36m tall. Only bare and broken branches remain, with a possibly broken trunk. Uprooted -- 298,794 polygons -- 15.25m tall. A dead or dying tree that has fallen onto its side, potentially a full-length trunk or a broken one. Ancient -- 1,011,215 polygons -- 45.98m tall. An extremely old tree, larger than normal, with heavier and drooping branches. Young Mature -- 601,926 polygons -- 27.01m tall. Fully mature but not yet at its full height. Young -- 134,292 polygons -- 17.89m tall. A smaller plant halfway through its maturing cycle. Immature -- 8,966 polygons -- 5.66m tall. The plant is small and hasn't reached its mature form. Sapling -- 805 polygons -- 1.42m tall. Extremely young and small. Less Gnarled -- 652,656 polygons -- 34.48m tall. A straighter, less tortured version of the tree. More Gnarled -- 805,460 polygons -- 30.27m tall. A more twisted and gnarled version of the tree. Displacement -- 1,453,292 polygons -- 32.34m tall. The same as the Standard model but with displacement applied to the trunk and branches for increased detail. Re-meshing is available upon request, including adaptive mesh for lower poly counts or uniform mesh for easier editing. No charge applies to existing customers. Many other modifications are available upon request at no additional cost to existing customers. The textures included in this pack are mainly 4k (4096x4096) to cater for detailed renders. However, these may be slow to load or render on some systems and not necessary in all situations. Medium 2k, small 1k, and tiny textures are also available for different needs.
