Red Mangrove Scientific: Rhizophora mangle This Variation: 14 of 20 Habitat: Red mangroves thrive on coastlines where brackish water and swampy salt-marshes prevail in tropical and sub-tropical climates. Range: Estuarine ecosystems throughout the tropics support red mangrove populations. Widespread distribution is seen in the Americas, Caribbean, Africa, Oceania, Australia, and other places. Notes: Characterised by its stilt roots giving it the well-known mangrove appearance, this plant's seeds fully develop on the plant before dropping and surviving up to a year in salt-water. Hence, its ability to colonise new territories makes it a standout among plant species. Included in this Package: 7 models Standard -- 226,456 polygons -- 14.2m tall. Fully mature and fruiting with some diseased and yellowing foliage, typical of the species. Relatively healthy model useful for most scenes and applications. Distressed -- 260,819 polygons -- 15m tall. Increased level of foliage damage and disease, as well as missing and broken branches make this an excellent choice for scenarios requiring distressed models. Unhealthy -- 154,275 polygons -- 15.5m tall. In a relatively poor state with much of its foliage missing or diseased, ideal for adding realism to scenes featuring dying vegetation. Dead -- 12,321 polygons -- 11.8m tall. Bare and broken branches along with dead foliage give this model a striking appearance, making it perfect for environments needing realistic devastation. Young -- 145,118 polygons -- 7.5m tall. Halfway through its maturing cycle, this smaller tree features a reduced poly count compared to its mature counterpart, making it suitable for more distant renders or lower-resource scenarios. Immature -- 52,915 polygons -- 3m tall. Less than halfway to full maturity, this smaller version boasts fewer branches and foliage while maintaining an upright posture, useful in scenarios requiring smaller trees with a distinct, less established presence. No Fruit -- 190,935 polygons -- 14.2m tall. Without fruit generation, this model provides ample opportunity for the application of realistic flowering and foliage, especially beneficial in distant renders where finer details may not be as critical to accuracy. LowPoly variations available upon request. Re-meshing also offered as an additional service: Adaptive mesh, uniform mesh, strict quads, tris, mixed, poly increase or decrease. This benefit comes with no charge for existing customers of the product. A vast array of modifications is available on demand at no cost to current product holders: Re-mesh, sub-surfing and any number of minor adjustments including scaling etc. EVERYPlant works tirelessly, striving towards a grand goal... modelling every single plant species known, some extinct, a pinch of sci-fi and even a bit of fantasy thrown in!
