Red Mangrove Scientific Name: Rhizophora mangle This is Variation Number 8 out of a total of 20. Habitat and Growing Conditions: The Red Mangrove plant thrives on coastlines where the water is brackish, which means it contains both fresh and saltwater. It also grows in swampy areas with lots of salt-marshes in tropical and subtropical regions. Geographic Range: You can find this plant growing in estuaries throughout the tropics, covering a vast area including the Americas, Caribbean, Africa, Oceania, Australia, and other parts of the world. Key Characteristics: The Red Mangrove is easily recognizable due to its stilt roots. This unique root system gives it a distinct mangrove appearance that sets it apart from other trees. Its seeds fully mature while still on the plant before they drop off. One of these seeds' remarkable features is that they can survive for up to a year in saltwater, which enables them to establish new colonies in areas where there isn't a Red Mangrove already. Models Included in this Package: This package includes seven different models: Standard: A fully grown tree that stands at 10.6m tall and contains fruiting features, shown here with a bit of diseased and yellow foliage as it is naturally seen. This version would be the most widely usable. Distressed: An upgraded version standing at an even taller height, this shows a larger number of branches that are more broken compared to healthy models and in worse health with even much yellower diseased foliage. Useful in scene scenarios and applications where you don't require fully complete features and textures on models. Height is around 11.2m and uses approximately 291,273 polygons. The total tree count remains consistent at a higher resolution and details compared to previous model. Unhealthy: Also showing at the taller 11.2 meters and standing only around two meters shorter from being healthy it shows even lesser healthy areas on branches compared to standard. Height is still maintained by polygon totals remaining the same of over one hundred ninety thousand at one hundred seventy six which leaves it more under full scale. Dead: Stature and a reduced overall amount are found when comparing dead against mature ones. As expected from their name these models can give a unique perspective, this shows even more minimal in total details such as the smaller model count (less polygons than most models). The taller part reaches approximately around eleven meters which results an over twenty two percent drop-off when evaluating all six variations. Young: Slightly shorter height, the young variety grows out at an additional half from its younger sibling showing growth within trees mature lifespan, slightly larger foliage details seen. Tree count totals over fifty three and four hundred ninety polygons making it suitable for a more low to mid-level graphic settings in environments of game design. It will still take longer before being totally fruitful. Imature: Only around three quarters into tree’s maturing time we get these trees with a shorter postur in its general look than younger. Branch numbers lower here also but total foliage stays somewhat equal so visually it won’t drastically vary that much and overall will only appear somewhat taller due higher amount of stumps present within environment. No Fruit: Useful when wanting the details around middle to distance view since detailed smaller textures become unnecessary this gives more polycount decrease while also not having an excessive look to models. Total poly-count used is two hundred thousand so even lower on graphics but retains overall original visual quality still shown in image above. For people interested, Everyplant can perform several tasks including the adaptive remesh for requested plant model (models). You only pay the one-time payment fee to request any re mesh and they will create models upon purchase! No matter which of them are being remastered - be sure to go look up EVERPLant because every other plants has got this dream - they’re trying their very best and would like all of us plant enthusiasts and anyone at least that might like this beautiful project with EVERY model they have been adding up there: So take your time. https://www.facebook.com/EVERYPlant.Project/
