DescriptionName: Indian Rubber Tree Scientific: Ficus elastica This Variation: 4 of 4. This is a High Poly model. A Low Poly version is also available. Notes: A large tree in the banyan group of figs, growing to 30–40m typically and occassionally to 60m. The trunk develops aerial and buttressing roots to anchor it in the soil and help support heavy branches. All parts of the plant contain an abundant milky white latex, which has been tested for use in the manufacture of rubber, but without economic and technical results. It is native to eastern parts of South and Southeast Asia and has become naturalized in Sri Lanka, the West Indies, and Florida. It has since been introduced to many other tropical and sub-tropical areas. It is grown as an ornamental the world over. Included in this Package: 16 models in total Standard -- 302,896 polygons, 415,957 vertices -- 35.91m tall. Green, fully mature and in good health. Useable in most scenes. Thriving -- 329,466 polygons, 457,379 vertices -- 35.91m tall. Peak health. Unhealthy -- 199,700 polygons, 261,507 vertices -- 35.42m tall. Relatively poor state with foliage missing or diseased. Dying -- 139,681 polygons, 172,479 vertices -- 35.25m tall. Just hanging onto life and showing only unhealthy and diseased foliage. Dead -- 99,469 polygons, 119,592 vertices -- 34.77m tall. Showing only bare and broken branches and dead foliage. Stump -- 46,977 polygons, 56,527 vertices -- 21.27m tall. A dead plant with its trunk broken and missing. Uprooted -- 146,073 polygons, 176,686 vertices -- 14.4m tall. Dead plant fallen onto its side. Ancient -- 405,609 polygons, 538,156 vertices -- 45m tall. Very old plant, larger and considerably gnarled. Young -- 170,934 polygons, 245,143 vertices -- 26.15m tall. Smaller plant, some half way through its maturing cycle. Immature -- 11,417 polygons, 17,191 vertices -- 10.27m tall. Very small and young plant. Sapling -- 1,307 polygons, 2,105 vertices -- 1.75m tall. Recently sprouted, may not have any leaves. Lower Poly -- 93,513 polygons, 155,611 vertices -- 35.77m tall. Fewer polys to save system resources. For mid or distant renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge). Higher Poly -- 624,209 polygons, 804,503 vertices -- 35.91m tall. More polys for greater detail. For close-up renders. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge). Quads -- 338,104 polygons, 467,235 vertices -- 35.91m tall. Quad polygons throughout (as opposed to mixed, which is much more efficient). Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge). Triangles -- 592,478 polygons, 417,701 vertices -- 35.91m tall. Triangle polygons throughout (as opposed to mixed, which is much more efficient). Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge). Uniform Mesh -- 209,956 polygons, 283,777 vertices -- 35.82m tall. Uniform meshing throughout (as opposed to adaptive). For easier editing. Standard model included, remainder models upon request (no charge). Re-meshing and any reasonable modification available upon request. No charge to existing customers of the product. The textures included are mainly 4k (4096x4096); additional texture sizes of medium 2k, small 1k, and tiny <1k textures can also be downloaded. Separated alpha maps can be download as well.
