Coastal Redwood LowPoly Scientific: Sequoia sempervirens About this Package: This package features a comprehensive series of staged models representing the entire lifecycle of a single Coastal Redwood plant. It includes models for various stages of maturity and health, totaling 24 distinct models. The exact variation of this species in this package is unique and cannot be found anywhere else. Habitat: Within its range, this tree thrives in coastal mountainous regions where ocean moisture helps sustain it. The tallest and oldest trees are found in deep valleys and gullies, where year-round streams flow and fog drip is common. Range: This tree occupies a narrow strip of land approximately 750 km long along the Pacific coast of North America; the most southerly grove is in Monterey County, California, and the most northerly groves are in extreme southwestern Oregon. Notes: An evergreen, long-lived tree (1,800+ years) that is the tallest living tree on Earth, reaching over 115m tall. It is also one of the oldest living things and one of the most valuable species in the lumber industry. Fossil records show it was once more widely distributed. Included in this Package: 24 models in total Maturity: Seedling -- 1,039 polygons -- 1.37m tall. The plant emerges at its earliest stage. Sapling -- 1,145 polygons -- 4.52m tall. A very small and young plant develops true leaves. Formative -- 1,517 polygons -- 9.83m tall. The plant begins to develop into its maturing form, with branches emerging. The plant gains its mature aspect and develops into its final form. Young -- 7,366 polygons -- 52.11m tall. A smaller plant halfway through its maturing cycle. Growing -- 9,377 polygon -- 69.92m tall. The plant is in its mature aspect and growing. Young Mature -- 11,015 polygons -- 84.38m tall. Fully matured but not at full height yet. Growing Mature -- 12,393 polygons -- 93m tall. The plant is in its final form but still growing. Mature -- 12,686 polygons -- 94.45m tall. Fully mature and grown. Old -- 13,103 polygons -- 94.96m tall. Larger, more twisted. Ancient -- 13,480 polygons -- 95.55m tall. A very old plant, larger than normal, with heavier, drooping branches. Declining -- 10,571 polygons -- 94.45m tall. Further decline in health resulting in more disease, damage, and broken branches. Unhealthy -- 9,583 polygons -- 94.45m tall. In a relatively poor state with much of its foliage missing or diseased. Withering -- 7,862 polygons -- 92.74m tall. In steep decline, reaching the point of no return. Dying -- 6,794 polygons -- 92.47m tall. The tree hangs onto life and shows only unhealthy and diseased foliage. Morbid -- 6,001 polygons -- 92.47m tall. At the point of death.
