Habitat: Growing in coastal mountainous regions where ocean moisture helps water it, this tree thrives in deep valleys and gullies with year-round streams and regular fog drip. Range: Occupying a narrow strip of land approximately 750 km long along the Pacific coast of North America, from Monterey County, California to extreme southwestern Oregon. Notes: An evergreen, long-lived (1,800+ years) tree, reaching over 115m tall. The tallest living tree on Earth, taller than the Giant Redwood, these trees are among the oldest living things. Valuable in the lumber industry, fossil records show it was once more widely distributed. Included in this Package: 12 models Standard -- 7,398 polygons -- 103.57m tall.
