Range: Occupying a narrow strip approximately 750 km long along the Pacific coast of North America, this tree is most southerly found in Monterey County, California, and most northerly in extreme southwestern Oregon. Notes: An evergreen tree that lives for thousands of years (1,800+). The tallest living tree on Earth, it can reach up to 115.5 m.
