African Oil Palm: Elaeis guineensis 12 of 20 plant variations showcased Native habitat is remarkably adaptable, thriving in diverse soil conditions across Africa and parts of the tropics, avoiding harsh desert and sub-desert environments. Commercial cultivation expands to meet palm oil demands worldwide. Notably, however widespread growth often comes at an environmental cost as forests are cleared for plantations. This species' commercial significance drives a massive production volume, although this has devastating impacts due to mass deforestation and land degradation on natural ecosystems. Bundle Details: Included are ten unique African Oil Palm models: Standard (Mature) model featuring 212,051 polygons and 15.1m height Standard Fruit: a variation of the mature tree featuring richly textured fruit clusters that appear ripe or just budding Distressed - With its 203,165 polygons and reduced frond mass and decay, it appears frail due to neglect or some form disease Unhealthy - As evident in the unhealthy model with a height of only 13m, many fronds appear to have dropped. Much damage is clearly visible along its leaf canopy and a lot around trunk area. Dead (Skeleton): a smaller version at 10.3m high that is mostly devoid of foliage showing signs it is well beyond mature but has seen a prolonged decay Young Model with just a handful missing branches in full, and overall 9.6 tall. The Immature: Still within its young stages standing barely half a metre short in comparison than a tree on its fully grown version, Fruitless Standard variation showing a nearly mature state while being 15m tall without fruits All dead fronds taken away which might leave you envisioning plantations which need care or removal. A well-pruned plantation model, standing around same size to all variations that grow with leaves - at fifteen metres. Least detail variation available if more distant shots in production is required, at just a bit lower amount compared on other variants for better quality renders The high poly version (with higher resolution displacements) can add additional visual flair.
