African Oil Palm Scientific: Elaeis guineensis This Variation: 5 of 20 Habitat: Native to western and southwestern Africa, where it grows abundantly in a wide variety of soil types, often avoiding desolate desert conditions. Range: Widely cultivated across the tropics, this plant's native habitat is West Africa, although it has become an important crop globally. Notes: The primary source of palm oil worldwide, this species holds significant commercial value. However, its extensive cultivation has severe environmental implications due to deforestation on a massive scale for plantation purposes. Included in this Package: 10 different models available Standard -- 355,010 polygons -- Standing at 15.6m tall and fully mature with ripening fruit, displaying minor health issues including some yellowed diseased leaves as typically seen, this plant is generally fit to be used in most applications. Distressed -- 343,047 polygons -- Exhibiting higher foliage damage and increased disease spread, it features missing fronds and breaks in its structure, representing an enhanced level of decay and distress. Unhealthy -- 220,361 polygons -- Weighing around 14.4m tall and struggling, with much of the foliage absent or infected, making it look sickly. Dead -- 42,261 polygons -- Displaying almost completely barren and dead foliage along its shorter, just 11.4m tall, trunk. Young -- 328,473 polygons -- Halfway through maturity, measuring at 10m tall with fewer leaves than expected. Immature -- 171,674 polygons -- Less than halfway through development, with a small height of only 4.4m, displaying its incomplete shape and smaller, short-stemmed form. No Fruit -- 250,584 polygons -- This model lacks ripening fruit but is similar to the standard tree model otherwise; at a tall stature of 15.6m. Good for long-distance renders where finer details aren't necessary. No Dead Fronds -- 333,211 polygons -- Typically hanging fronds around the base of its trunk are completely missing from this neatly cared for model. Least Detail -- 226,178 polygons -- Lower detailed rendition best used in the far distance, having lost more than a third less in polygons at still 15.6m tall. Trunk Displacement -- 624,097 polygons -- Trunk receives enhanced texture due to displacement mapping and is better viewed close-up where such extra detail comes into view. Every option provided has access to the service for customers - modifications (including various low poly variations available upon demand). Many services can also provide low-cost mesh remodeling for customer clients, in no cost to existing customers, these may be re-meshing requests like quad-adaptive tris, tris with adaptive mesh and poly adjustment for a reduced and detailed view on a scale. We envision ... our ambitious goal which is model as many different plant species as we find (in the future even fantasy plants). So long it at least have known English common name in place so others may be easier tracked or followed if wished.
