Everyday Astronaut 3D coat of arms
thingiverse
Hi, I'd like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Everyday Astronaut for the many fascinating videos they've shared with us space enthusiasts. As a token of appreciation, I designed his logo as a 3D coat of arms. This project was one of my most ambitious and intricate endeavors yet. I didn't just use powder-coated-bed technology and top-down methods; I also utilized five-color printing, sanding, painting, and an abundance of gluing to bring it to life. I started by sketching the entire design from a picture of Everyday Astronaut, then built the crest piece by piece. The construction was created in AutoCAD, while the renderings were done using Fusion 360. In the coming days, I'll post about a suitable stand for the coat of arms. For now, let's take a look at how it all came together! The design is finally printed on my trusty Prusa i3 MK3 MMU2 printer, and I'm grateful to Josef Prusa for this incredible machine.
