UPDATE To use this as an "inside connector," simply set the Inside radius to "0". Adjust the Outside radius according to your tube's requirements. No functional changes needed – just follow these additional instructions. Introducing a multi-connector creator for Makerbot Customizer, which allows you to generate connectors with any number of rods, various angles, and customizable size and thickness. Expect continued improvements until the deadline. Soon, individual arm parameters will be incorporated. UPDATE: Now enjoy up to 30 arms with individually adjustable angles! UPDATE: A sample STL created with Customizer has been added to the downloads for your convenience. UPDATE***: Version 2.1 now generates connectors for triangle, square, pentagon, hexagon, octagon, and circle. The back edge of the join may be rough on most shapes except circles, but improvements are ongoing. UPDATE***: A heel has been added to clean up the back of the join. Quick Start Guide: 1. Open this thing in Customizer by clicking the "Open with Customizer" button beneath the photo. 2. Set each desired arm with the correct angle. For arms you don't want, set their angles to "0" to hide them. 3. Use connectors to join rods, straws, PVC, or any other materials as needed. Remember, X, Y, and Z planes can interact in interesting ways, so experiment with different placements. 4. If you find any issues, please let me know. This is my entry to the Customizer Challenge, and your download counts!
