Eventorbot Wade / Greg Extruder Parts

Eventorbot Wade / Greg Extruder Parts

This compilation encompasses various components, which include parts created by me and borrowed ones for incorporating Wade/Greg style extruders in an Eventorbot 3D printer. The original printer features a direct drive extruder; however, insufficient torque from large motors prompted the shift to geared filament drives. The adapter brackets are designed to accommodate standard RepRap Wade-style extruders. Key components included in this compilation are as follows: single and dual extruder mounting brackets, Bowden tube (pneumatic fitting) adapter for PEEK tube style extruder (2 screws), and parts for constructing a Greg type extruder from scratch (including hobbed bolt). Notably, the MK7-style hobbed gear from Kickstarter Eventorbot kits can also be used. For this purpose, files are provided for modified gears based on "Greg's Accessible Wade Herringbone Gears," a modified idler with guide and optional pneumatic fitting for the guide tube inspired by "Taylor's Greg's Wade Extruder." There is also an unmodified extruder body for 5mm bolt and hobbed gear from "Taylor's Greg's Wade Extruder". Although these designs might not be perfect, they are functional, and suggestions for improvement are welcome. This compilation is intended to assist Eventorbot owners in need of these components.
