Eva-Dry E-333 Rechargeable Dehumidifier/Desiccant Mount
myminifactory
I designed this mount specifically for my Eva-Dry E-333, which I use in my filament dry box. I really appreciate how easy it is to recharge and how long it tends to last - at least a few months between charges where I live. I wanted something that would securely hold the unit so it wouldn't bounce around inside the box and be easily visible from the outside when it's time to recharge. There are two versions available, one with holes for mounting with bolts or screws, and another for mounting with double-sided tape. Instructions for filament dry box mounting Supplies: * EvaDry-mount-bolts printed * 4 bolts - the holes are sized for M3 or similar sizes * 4 nuts that match your bolts * 4 washers (preferably fender washers) that match your bolts * Tools to tighten your bolts To mount the bracket, hold it up where you want it inside your box and use a marker to mark the four holes on the box. Using a 1/16" or 1.5mm drill bit, slowly drill small pilot holes through each dot you marked - starting small will help prevent cracking the plastic tub. Then, using a 1/8" or 3mm drill bit, slowly drill out each hole to the desired size. Insert the screws through the part and then through the side of the bin. Put the washer over the bolt on the outside of the bin and secure with the nut. Instructions for tape mounting Supplies: * EvaDry-mount-double-sided-tape printed * Foam double-sided tape (like this 3M tape) Stick the tape to the indents on the back of the mount and cut it to length. Then, stick it to your desired surface.
