Use this handy clip in conjunction with a strip of 3M double-sided tape to secure an Eva-Dry 333 desiccant pack inside your electronics project box, outdoor enclosure, gun/valuables security safe or cabinet easily. The bracket/clip is sized and shaped to hold the desiccant pack snugly - note that it includes two "bumpers" that work with the arcing shape of the Eva-Dry 333 to hold it in place gently but securely while being super easy to print without supports. In the photo, a single clip holds an Eva-Dry 333 against the inside of the door of a Bud Industries ABS/Acrylic-blend electronics enclosure. In this configuration, the desiccant pack slides in and out from one side. You could also orient the whole thing vertically, so the pack would slide in and out from the top. We use these at Valarm LLC for any remote monitoring installations requiring a desiccant pack. The Eva-Dry 333 is bulky if your project is small, but it's particularly useful due to its built-in AC recharging feature and very large capacity, allowing it to last for months or years between recharges depending on enclosure size and air-tightness. To install, first determine where you want everything to go, and test that you can get the pack in and out while the clip is down. That 3M Outdoor Double-Sided Tape is incredibly strong. The clip should be centered on the desiccant pack for best results. Then, holding the desiccant pack where you want it, remove the red backing film from your tape and press the clip into place by first putting it against the face of the desiccant pack, then rocking it backwards slowly until the adhesive tape makes contact with the back wall. Finally, slide the desiccant out of the way, and apply as much pressure as you can to the clip while supporting the substrate from behind. The 3M adhesive is "pressure activated" so to speak. Enjoy a dry container!
