The text elements are still fully functional, allowing for modification if necessary. Most of these elements are free to move around - bogies, pantograph, buffers, cables, hooks, doors, mirrors, wipers, and dumpers can all be rearranged at will. For the main body of this project, I relied heavily on a sketch from Karl Gerhard Baur's book EUROSPRINTER. Unfortunately, the book does not provide much in terms of detailed information. I also have a 3D model of the locomotive, but when compared to the book, many details proved to be incorrect - far too many inaccuracies were present. This 3D creation incorporates all the elements I was able to glean from the book and my own images (which number a few) as well as the 3D model itself. Other aspects of this project, such as the interior design, drew inspiration from BR 189. As more information becomes available, I will continue to update this model accordingly.
