EUROMEX LMS Microscope Accessory Thingy
thingiverse
The EUROMEX microscope LMS (MIC290) features additional components that necessitate storage space. The oil immersion lens includes a bottle measuring 20 x 20 mm, while the microscope itself can be secured for transport using a bolt. Historically, we employed 20W incandescent light bulbs to heat our microscope preparations. In place of an expensive cold lamp setup costing between 300 and 400 EUR, sunlight serves as a viable alternative. I prefer this approach over a warm lamp, which tends to cause water evaporation during training. For users with SolidWorks, the model can be opened from student version 2015 onwards. I have simplified the design, but if you require the original file, simply unhide the hidden features. Photos will follow shortly. EDIT: The uploaded model has been revised to accommodate an additional 1mm in width, ensuring that object lenses fit seamlessly within the v2 design.
