Euro coin storage tube
thingiverse
I use these custom-made coin holders to store and stack euro coins in my collection. The design accommodates space for one of each value, allowing me to easily manage eight coins from the same country, year, or mint. I inherited this coin collection and don't want to sell it, but I also don't want it to occupy too much space in my cupboard. In the customizer, you can set the number of coins for each value, which is especially helpful when dealing with sets that have some missing coins and multiple copies of others. The coin holders are organized by diameter, not value. This means that: * Coins with a diameter of 1 cent * Coins with a diameter of 2 cents * Coins with a diameter of 10 cents * Coins with a diameter of 5 cents * Coins with a diameter of 20 cents * Coins with a diameter of 1 euro * Coins with a diameter of 50 cents * Coins with a diameter of 2 euros With the lid, you can easily add Tesa or other sticky tape without any issues. I only use these coin holders for collecting coins. For regular coins, it's usually better to create cylindrical rolls instead of these cone-shaped containers. I found a great roll helper online that makes it easy to create paper rolls. The design requires a lot of clearance, but you can reduce it by editing the OpenSCAD file. I prefer the sound of coins rattling inside rather than spending time sanding and filing the holder into shape. The picture also includes a variant for non-euro coins.
