A coin sorting device for euro coins created with some support from my 12-year-old godchild. It functions quite well as long as you don't overdo it with the amount of coins. 5-cent and 50-cent coins have a larger diameter than 10-cent and 1-euro coins accordingly. Therefore, their order is reversed. Demonstration Video: https://youtu.be/WeCBFLK4XXI Remixes: Developing this gadget was fun, and we used "US Coin Sorter V3.0 by Pentland_Designs" as an inspiration. His experience and videos were very helpful. I already had a design for snap-in connections that fit perfectly. Development Notes: One picture shows the development of the disk and funnel (the old versions are in the back). The first disk design didn't work because coins weren't sliding up the chamfer. So, we reduced the thickness to the thickness of the 1-cent coin. The funnel was the most challenging part. The first design often clogged. We added an area so that coins could slide up instead of blocking. Unfortunately, this caused coins to sometimes "glide" over the disk without falling down. This problem was mainly solved by adding an oval hole and a stepper angle at the front. It works well as long as there aren't too many coins in the funnel. Maybe someone will design an even better version, which is why we've included the Fusion 360 file.
