Eureka Model 10 Nozzle Latch
thingiverse
Vintage vacuum cleaner part for Eureka Model 10 (serial number starts with 'J'). This is the nozzle latch, which I believe was originally made of pot metal and did not stand the test of time (almost 100 years now!). This is for the version of the machine without the bowtie-shaped steel spacer plate behind the latch. This may work on that version if you simply remove the spacer plate, not sure. I may upload another design for that one if anyone is interested. You will need the original screw and spring. Mark 2 is slightly more robust. The first version broke rather easily. Unfortunately this part has a lot of force applied to it, it really needs to be made of metal. Fortunately you can just print several and keep them around.
