ETW - Wombat 10cc 2-Cycle Engine

The Wombat is a 2-cycle model engine designed by Edgar T. Westbury who published the plans in the 1968 Issues of ME (3351 - 3355). Various accounts report that Westbury was ill at the time which may account for the lack of proof reading of the plans, he passed May, 1970. In spite of the plans discrepancies and with a little "Model Engineering" sense, a handsome little engine can be crafted from Westbury's drawings and instructions.I did not verify if the Crank Counter weights presented in the plans correctly balance the reciprocating unbalance, nor if the Port Timing I ended up with is optimal, but it looks reasonable.Other than the hardware changed to US Std. and dimensional adjustments that allow the engine to be assembled, the result pretty much follows what Westbury laid out.
