My rendition of Westbury’s KittyHawk 30 cc. The engine was designed by scaling the (1944-45) Kittiwake 15cc and (1960) Kiwi Mk II 15 cc, ME Magazine Plan dimensions by approximately 128% and rounding as needed.I deviated from the original design look by adding more cooling fins on the Cylinder Barrel and Head, Carburetor and Ignition Breaker Assemblies have been scaled up from the Kiwi engine. Engine Specs; Bore = 1-9/32, Stroke = 1-13/32, Displacment = 1.8131 in^3 = 29.7112 cc.One can engineer a complete engine from the (very incomplete) Kittiwake plans found in 1944-45, ME magazine Vols. 91-92, Odd Nos. 2275-2303, and the Kiwi Mk II plan pdf can be found searching the web.Your Likes and Comments welcome.
