Idea of the project When I transport my atomizers, some have a tendency to leak through air vents and to avoid having liquid everywhere, I package them in small hermetic bags. However, they are not protected against shocks, and although this has not happened to me, the glass reservoir could break on impact. I needed to create a case that would protect them and contain any leaks, and while I was at it, use it as a base to keep the atomizer vertically for filling or when I need to work on the resistance and cotton. Instructions So that you can design your cases in your own dimensions (the STL files here correspond to a base of Ø22 and a lid of Ø22 for my Avocado), I have put the files on Tinkercad. The base: You will find the base (in Ø22) on the TINKERCAD website by clicking this link: https://tinkercad.com/things/7oJPlQk7U70 Start by ungrouping the object and add 0.5mm to the original values for each element to increase the diameter by 1mm for an atomizer of Ø23, 1mm for a Ø24 atomizer, etc... Be careful not to modify the Ø of the hole corresponding to the 510 connection, and also think about modifying the internal hole for the thickness of the wall that rises. To calculate the height, measure your atomizer from the base (without the 510 connection) to the top of the drip-tip, and add 5mm (or 5.5mm if you want a bit of play). For printing: in your slicer, choose the option "Spiral Vase". This way, the impression will be really smooth and perfectly adjusted to the base (you can even skip the joint). Bonus To quickly differentiate the cases, I used a gray vinyl that I cut into circles, and for the inscription, a Posca marker.
