Etruscan Woman
myminifactory
The oldest Etruscan sculpture showcases a woman who was an ancestor of royalty. Experts agree that it was crafted around 630 BC, unearthed by Isidoro Falchi in 1892 within the Pietrera mound in Vetulonia. However, since its discovery, this remarkable historical relic has never returned to its birthplace in Vetulonia. The occasion is a special exhibition celebrating Archaeologists in the 1800s. Visitors can view the rediscovered cities of Etruria and ancient Lazio at the archaeological museum.
