The eTrex is my backup navigation device when hiking, especially during unfavorable conditions. I use it alongside my phone, which gets stowed away once things get tough. For attaching the GPS to my backpack, I utilized a clip/mount from enif's handlebar mount and made modifications to create channels for thin zip-tie straps. The photo displays an unattached version on the right and a harness-mounted one on the left. I chose impact-modified PLA for its durability and slip-resistant properties.
