Ethernet (RJ45) COMPLETELY :: broken Plug lock-tab fix
thingiverse
This is a fast and dependable solution for when you've got your Ethernet cable's lock-tab broken totally! When there isn't even the front of that tab left, but you don't want or can't re-crimp those plugs. This is a modification of my previous design per request. So here it is. This design sits well on the back of the plug and holds it in place. I've printed it in translucent PLA. Since I use a heated bed and BuildTak surface, there was no need for any raft or supports. You might need at least a small brim, though. Modifications: 3a - When you'd prefer to glue the thing on top of your broken connector. Glue just the very back of the device which lays flat. I prefer the full version as it holds the connector from the bottom. Print Settings: Printer: Raise N2 Plus Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.15 mm Infill: 100%
