Ethernet Port Protector Plug - Reserve / Protect an Ethernet Port

IT professionals will appreciate this versatile tool, designed to let you label/protect a port easily among other network cables. Protect or reserve an Ethernet (RJ45) socket with this plug, printed securely into position like any Ethernet connector using a Replicator 2. When printed in a bright color it stands out and has sufficient length to insert/remove but is short enough that it won't block server cabinet doors from closing. The Ethernet Port Protector Plug also has holes that allow you to attach tags with cable ties or rubber bands so information and notes can be referenced quickly. Check out my other designs! Instructions: On a Replicator 2 print at standard resolution (0.20mm) with 4 shells, 50% infill, and Raft on. Print upright to minimize build plate contact patch. If adhesion issues arise, printing 2-up can help cool layers before the next is added; try reducing the print speed to 60 mm/s and give the build plate a quick wipe with Isopropyl alcohol. This usually isn't necessary if the build plate is well leveled and your machine works properly.
