Ethernet Passthrough Cutter
thingiverse
Ethernet passthrough connectors are really convenient, but only if you have the right tools. If you don't have a crimping tool that cuts off the excess wires after crimping the connector you'll need to cut off the wires by hand. This can be pretty fiddly, so I designed this tool. Simply insert your crimped connector with the excess wire still attached, line it up against the blade, and cut. Not having the right tool has never been more convenient. You will need a standard utility knife blade and a pair of M3x6 (or longer) screws and nuts. The arms are held together with a print in place hinge and must be printed together. The stop is optional but without it the blade may move past the connector holding arm and cut you so I really recommend it.
