Ethernet Cable Runners have become extremely popular as a straightforward solution to keep your Ethernet cables neat, under control and easy to access, insert and remove. The STL files provided here include a screw mount that allows them to attach securely to walls, shelves, partitions and other internal structures. They are identical in design to my earlier posted cable tie versions which can be found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1320948. I decided to add these as a separate listing because of the numerous files available in the range. The screw fixing range accommodates from 2 to 16 cables, with each slot only accepting up to two cables at a time. This ensures that you can easily access and remove internal cables...the maximum number outside it is one. The Ethernet Cable Runners are small blocks that print quickly so they offer an easy and cost-effective solution to a common issue in offices, buildings and at home. Print lots and vary the range so you've always got the right one on hand to meet your needs at the time.... Tidy up your cables today! And if you find the cables you're using differ from standard size Ethernet cables, simply uniformly scale them to suit. Please refer to the images and print instructions for further details. Print Settings Printer Brand MakerBot Printer MakerBot Replicator 2 Rafts Yes Supports No Resolution Standard / 0.20mm Infill 3 shells / 50% or more infill is recommended to ensure they are strong... particularly the versions holding large numbers of cables. Notes To ensure these work well print them strong by using 3 shells and 50% infill. They work great in PLA. They should also print well in ABS. No support required. Raft is your choice. If you find the cables you're using vary from common size Ethernet cables, just uniformly scale them to suit.
