I require a component that permits the passage of a 29 Ethernet cable from my roof into a cabinet where it can connect to patch panels. A plug fits comfortably within a 54mm holesaw hole drilled through 13mm plasterboard. The design consists of two parts, a plug and a locking ring, facilitated by four grooves that enable secure engagement. Unfortunately, the existing design functions effectively but demands an unacceptable amount of force to lock the two components together; hence, a twist-lock mechanism would offer a significantly improved solution.
