Customizable Bike Light Mount

Thingiverse willbradley Free 3D Printable

SummaryThis design was used to mount a rear bicycle light to the back of my bike, remixed from drxenocide's version. It is designed with a clip to hold the top on, adjust the tolerance variable as desired to account for wiggle room and printer inaccuracy. The mount has recesses and holes for zip ties (of customizable width) which attach the mount to the back of the rack (or whatever vertical flat surface you are mounting it to). The original relies on press-fit accuracy to hold the light on.The included STL was the one that worked for my Concord 24014 Rechargeable USB Rear Tail Light (https://www.walmart.com/ip/Concord-5-Lumens-USB-Rechargeable-Bicycle-Tail-Light-2-oz/1614592554), but this thing should be customizable to any of the slide-lock cycling couplers.Print SettingsRafts:NoSupports:NoResolution:Fast/Low is fineInfill:15% was fineNotes:While the top of the ziptie recess fits a ziptie of that size exactly, the bottom recess gets a little squished, so either add 1mm to the ziptie width as tolerance, or just do a little post processing with a file or knife.Possible Future Features-Allow the slide slot to be rotated-Allow printing on a curve, for printing around bars-Different mounting options: holes, zipties, bolt options for bar clamping-Documentation inside the .scad file
